Manages the flow of water to individual sections of the evaporative media to control humidity levels accurately.

If a stage of your humidifier fails to wet the media, or if water is constantly running to the drain during operation, measure the coil resistance with a multi-meter. A healthy coil should read approx. 47 ohms. 
If the resistance is significantly different or shows an "open" circuit, the valve must be replaced to restore proper stage operations.
