The complete assembly includes the following parts:

• Lime Scale Collector Tank (the main plastic vessel)
• Sealing Set (to prevent water leaks at the top connection)
• Drain Strainer (to catch large scale pieces before they reach the pump)
• Drain Valve including Gasket (for manual emptying)
• Temperature Sticker (to show if the water is safe to handle)

While the tank is replaced every 5,000 hours, it should be removed and cleaned more frequently as part of Small Maintenance (typically every 2,500 hours). Regular cleaning ensures that minerals do not build up to a level that prevents the humidifier from draining properly.

After installing the new 2599171 assembly, you should also replace the Connection Ring (2599174) as it shares the same 5,000-hour life limit.
