This is a specialised seal designed for the level control unit (float assembly). It provides a watertight connection between the level unit and the humidifier to prevent water from leaking into the cabinet. 

We recommend to replace this part every 10,000 operating hours as part of the planned preventative maintenance to ensure a reliable watertight seal.
