A factory-sealed, waterproof ultra-violet (UV) disinfection module designed to kill bacteria and viruses in the water tank of a Condair ME humidifier. It prevents the growth of micro-organisms and the formation of biofilm to ensure the system remains hygienic and safe for operation. 

We recommend replacing this item every 12 months or 8,870 operating hours. Even if the lamp is still emitting light, its ability to effectively kill micro-organisms drops significantly after this time, which can lead to bacterial growth in the water tank.
